A Bit About Me

I’m a master's student at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in the Marine Estuarine Environmental Sciences (MEES) Program.  I went to Randolph-Macon College and earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental studies and biology.

In the past, I studied crustaceans through an internship at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) for the Winter Dredge Survey and an REU at the Duke University Marine Laboratory.  For my graduate work, I transitioned to studying oysters!

I love field work and I’m not afraid to get muddy in the field!
